The devastating invasion of Ukraine is but one manifestation of a wider phenomenon: Russia’s new imperialism. This book, coauthored by two Russian dissident scholars, bases its analysis on the contradictory combination of imperialism’s two dimensions: the economic and the ideological. The authors will be joined by Dylan Riley (Sociology) to discuss two pre-circulated chapters of the book.
